Show Me; HP Drabble, Remus/Harry, PG.
From drabble night....
Prompt: May/December; a photo of a field of Bluebonnets.
Rating: PG
Pairing: Remus/Harry.
Warnings: None.
***
After the war, his eyes changed colour. It wasn't contact lenses; he still wore glasses. Perhaps it was some sympathy with Sirius, or a rejection of green-eyed Tom Riddle.
Remus came across him lying in a field of blue flowers down below Hogwarts; his eyes were blue now too -- he did look like Sirius as Remus sat and studied his upturned face. Harry propped himself on his elbows, smiling.
"Classes start tomorrow," Remus said. "Certain you want to stay?"
"Hogwarts was always my home. I'm looking forward to teaching."
"Me too."
"You're the Headmaster. I'll be asking you loads of questions."
"Oldest and youngest."
Before Remus could stop him one hand had taken him by the neck, pulling him down into a kiss that was sweet and hazed with blue, like Harry's eyes.
"So I suppose you'll show me, then?" Harry asked.
Remus nodded slowly and sank down into the field, disappearing completely in the blue.

But no one is sure what color his eyes are.....

Also, the argument of artistic license can apply. :D

I mean, I could argue that grey in England is a light-blue shade that could concievably darken in certain light, but the truth is I just totally forgot. :D

regardless of why, the idea that Harry's eyes stopped being green after his mother's protection dropped (assuming it'd drop b-c Voldy was gone) makes total poetic sense...
the fact that the "semi-omniscient observer" got the "why" wrong is merely fodder for the point, really.
even in 300 words or less, you have amazing storytelling skills.

It's strange: when I think of a blue-eyed Harry, it's the first time I've ever really found him attractive. I mean, in the film- Oh. Hold on.

I loved it and the picture was perfect.

Lol! That surprised me so much it squicked. I am 100% in Cartographer's Craft mode, with Remus being the sensible adult who almost doesn't consent to molest even Tonks' youth.
However, I love how you had Harry's eyes change color. I've never come across that idea in a fanfic. Everyone is obsessed with how greeny-green his eyes are.

And yes, now that I think about it, green eyed heroes/heroines are very rare...that's odd.

And I love how it's so short, because it leaves so much to the imagination. ;)

BTW, I think Tom Riddle's eyes were gray, weren't they?
