*pats* yeah. My problem was that I read the first three books and was basically reading book four to find out What Would Happen Next -- I didn't care about the characters so much as the concept. But Wizard and Glass was so painfully boring, Simon, like a high schooler's first try at romantic fantasy. Then five and six came out nearly together and I missed them, and then book seven and I kinda knew what was gonna happen but...
Well, we know that Stephen King can't write endings. *sighs* I suppose we can only blame him so far, since it's hard to live up to the AMAZING builds he can write, but it's still such a let down.
I'm a huge fan of his, but I want to tear out the last hundred pages of basically every novel he wrote, and write a more coherent version.
