I think once I get past year two, it won't be as difficult to write LC. Year two is very convoluted and difficult and flawed; all due respect to JKR, but it is.

Thank you for the lovely compliment! It's taken a lot of hard work to reach the writing quality I'm at today, and will be a lot longer before I'm truly satisfied with it.

It takes me anywhere from two days to two weeks to write a chapter, but I tend to update only once a month because it takes a while to get it fully beta'd. Right now 15 through 18 are done, but I haven't even sent them off to be beta'd because Tai can't until she comes home from San Francisco...:D
