I liked C's reasons for turning up at services, and A's reasons for not going. I can really see C talking to the high street evangelicals, looking very serious and concerned and interested, with a wicked twinkle in his eye.
Oh, and I wish I could hear A pronouncing asterisks!
Nitpicking: "Methodists in Newcastle" is fine, because it's 'some Methodists' not 'the Methodists', and besides, there aren't quite as many of them, but "the Anglicans in Lincoln" sounds a bit vague given that there will probably be an Anglican church to every square mile or two.
Lamb is a traditional Sunday lunch (especially for Easter Sunday: it's symbolic, seasonal, and tastes good roasted) so I'm afraid there's nothing wrong with A eating it then. It would be a bit off to eat it on a Friday, for those that pay attention to these things.
The last book of the Bible is generally called 'Revelation' in the UK - I've only ever heard 'Revelations' from people in the US.
