Yeah, they should give Sam a better arc, but in the meantime why not enjoy Castiel's? :D

That's flippant, but -- well, the writers don't always set the arcs. Kripke is either a genius at arc'ing or he's got a really great ghostwriter, but the Sam arc notably lagged. I get why it's there, it just, yeah.

Season three was horrific. I'm really glad it got cut short. I enjoyed S4, but then...Castiel. :D
