Belatedly from a rec - this is damn good. Your Sam is particularly brilliant, his voice is dead on, something I rarely saw in LoM fic when I read it, and I love the Sam/Annie, which there simply is not enough of given how much potential they have. And I've gone totally sour on Sam/Gene after watching badfic eat the fandom, but yours was really, plausibly, done. Excellent work!
