Story: My last year of high school we got a new stage manager who insisted we answer the calls that way. It got so ingrained in everyone that during an all-day senior function one of the teachers went down the hallway calling "Lunch in ten minutes!" and four or five of us instantly looked up and said "Thank you ten." We got such funny looks from everyone.
