Catching up with the last two chapters/episodes at once!
Okay, I'm not sure why, but up till now I've been pretty neutral toward Jack. Just haven't been as attached to him as so many others seem to be. But for some reason, this chapter? This chapter I kind of think he's five kinds of awesome. I have been converted. :)
I love that the geeky shout-outs continue, too. The scarf moment was predictable but still fun, and let me be the first to say that I grinned like whoa at the Fullmetal Alchemist reference.
Also, the bit about Mohinder being so very, very normal? Reminds me of the fact that nobody - not Chandra, not the Company - has been able to find anything physically or genetically unusual about Sylar, either. Which is an interesting thing.
Props to Utility Knife for the paintings, too. Oh, and on that note - the first one, is that of the past? Or had Isaac predicted Claude's memory or something?
Anyway - really entertaining chapter; off to read the next!
