I've been playing catch-up for a few chapters, so I'm just dropping commentary off at the end.
1. Makes sense that Draco didn't recognize Sirius, but wouldn't Snape? He wouldn't just be some random face out of the past, for him.
2. While I'm at it, I guess Remus rocks at Occlumency? He didn't make himself forget Sirius before the meeting. It could even be in character and everything, but then there's that niggling question of why he never trained Harry. Or does he have more plans for Pye?
3. It's strange, the way Remus & Harry circle around each other. "Just let me play a trick or two." Is he asking for permission? Is it because it concerns secret new weaponry, and Harry's stuck being General?
4. I hope JKR's Book 7 doesn't go for a Snape/Dumbledore Unbreakable Vow. I don't know what else would have assured such trust in that relationship, but...I just feel it'd be a much bigger deal without some sort of spell.
5. I don't want this to be all complainy; I'm obviously still along for the ride! Your twins are a treat. As is Firenze; I really like how he interacts with Sirius. I actually appreciate the complexity of the Remus/Harry relationship. And, to my great relief (because I was worried for a while that it might ruin this story filled with interesting plot and warm human moments), your Sirius/Harry romance makes sense. Nice, straightforward, simple, non-twisted sense. Honest, teenaged, stupid nervous holding-back arrangement sense, yes, but that's right, too. [/gratuitous validation]
