I simply love how your characters are so *real*. It's incredible. I honestly have never read characterisation done as well as it has been done in your stories. Just the little things, like how the children aren't just short adults as you find in many works but they actually have a child's personality, and the teens are something different again, but the teen and child's personality mesh so they don't metamorphose into a stranger, the child just grows up and you capture that *so* brilliantly.
The adults are another thing altogether. You manage to get the little things, the tiniest details that will just get you believing that they are real people just that little bit more. Like Sirius biting his lip before burying his head in Remus' chest. That tiniest of details just made the full extent of how *human they are come across. Most authors would have been content with "Sirius looked like he was about to cry" but you actually show us, rather than tell us (Cliche, I know, but it is SO true). It really is amazing and I just love reading your stories so much that I hardly mind the wait between updates. (on an unrelated to LC note, Harry Potter and the Bad Man in Legion chapter 4 was SO hilariously awful. You win.)
I know many people have said this, but the Ellis Graveworthy books and Carverquest REALLY need to be written and published. I know I'd buy them at least.
