Oddly I was reading default female. I don't know why but I've found that comic book reporters are generally women, while the men are the photographers/producers/publishers. Must be the Lois Lane thing. Plus in this piece the fact that Natasha is vavavoom gorgeous, but isn't harped on suggested a female (or at least gay male) eye, and there wasn't any male sizing up common with dude-meets-dude-for-the-first-time comic event-although now that I think of it, with these guys and Peter Parker I imagine he didn't trigger Thor and Cap's machoman alert. The "son" disappointed me, until I started thinking it might just be Parker, and there were clues like someone joking about Steve carrying him in a napsack; Peter's a pretty skinny bendy guy even when he's wearing his "street clothes". Also that fact that the boys felt comfortable changing in front of their reporter, reaffirmed my suspicion.
