I made a fairly undignified noise when I got to the end, amusement and delight mixed I think. Really nice fic even independent of that, good characterization, nice plotty stuff in it. I was amused by the Parker thing partially because I spent half the fic just trying to figure out the gender of the journalist in question and being quite interested when I couldn't -- normally there's just a general narrative style that suggests one way or the other, but in this case it was right down the line. I didn't figure it until Stark was angry at him I think? Or maybe when he was talking to the Hulk, there was a line that suggested/stated he was a guy. Anyway, fun, I liked it. The byline made me want to go reread it all again straight away with the new knowledge (and I probably will soon too).
