I never really put it down on paper because it wasn't really the point of the story, but in my head they bribed someone to install a worm directly into the servers -- IE, to break into Stark Industries and get a virus on the Stark servers, which talk to JARVIS's private servers frequently. I don't speak computer, so I figured I'd better not try :D
