I thought that worked pretty well, when I found out how they did the scrawny Steve... wow, that's some acting chops for a big guy to in his big body convincingly play a scrawny brash man that keeps getting his ass kicked and mouths off every time.

You'd be amazed how much vocal power can be stored even in a kid and timbre is largely a matter of the vocal cords, so it didn't trip anything to me.

(Of course, now I'm having visions of Benton Fraser as an eight year old being the avatar of the man he's to be all charged up on encyclopedia entries and moral teaching.
