Hullo, Sam. First, allow me to butter you up, as all people with a request do before actually getting to the point.

All of my friends and I are fans of your writing (the Stealing Harry universe being, as most of your fans say, an even better read than any of Jo Rowling's work) and our conversations often lead to references of your stories. We love your imagination and your nifty little inserts like Ellis Graveworthy..

I happen to be writing a fanfiction for my best friend's birthday this upcoming Tuesday (to be honest, it includes Shameless Remus/Sirius porn) and I was wondering if -- provided I give credit and a link back to this post, of course! -- I could include an insert of one of your Graveworthy drabbles? You see, the ficlet begins with Remus sulking a bit in his living room, reading a book... I thought it would be neat to give Graveworthy a mention in the fic despite it having nothing to do with yours, as I know my friends -- and probably half the LJ comm. I post it in -- with catch the reference. And, if they don't, the information as to where I snagged it will be provided. Including, of course, to whom it was written to. (I'm most fond of the first drabble written, for [livejournal.com profile] kit_maxel).

I know. I'm being awfully annoying, bothering you over the rights of using a drabble, but I promise I'll give all due credit and won't shame the name of Sam Storyteller by including it. I just thought it would be spiffy to give a look at what Remus was reading and have it be something by such a well loved fanfiction author's creation.

:D Did I mention that, in addition to all that, I love you terribly? And shall even more if you give me the privilage of using the first drabble from Chapter One of Wizard Bird?
