B-plots! I worked hard at those b-plots :D

It's true that if I took apart the specific "you're my con" interaction and made it about a cop who happened to catch a con who got out and now the cop needs him, I could do it. Hm. Requires much thought. I wonder if there's enough there to stretch into a novel, with a bit of research. I'm a little hapless about short stories.
