Mmmk, darling, crit time: You know I exault you and all your works, but the painting thing was a real disappointment. Every possible plot thingy I thought was going to come from it, you crushed; really, you removed all possible complications from what was on the page, or could arise from it later on.

No compliation while painting it, no potentially embarrasing voices, no questionable repercussions of using the Dorien Grey charms. AND all these conflict/plot-removal moments happened off-page, so they themselves were just as disappointing.
