Okay, so you may recall that I asked if I could podfic this, and you said that speccygeekgrrl had already called dibs, and I said "Not to worry! Fergeddaboudit!"
What I didn't mention was that, as is often the case, I'd sort of already recorded it, in between asking and hearing back from you. I waited for a bit, to see if she was going to post her version, and then I wondered whether maybe she'd be okay with both of us posting our versions, and consulted with the podfic community in general about the proprieties, and blah blah blah - point is I eventually did contact her & ask if she'd be okay with doing a joint release or whatever, and she says she's v. busy with RL things at the minute & hasn't got around to starting, and would be fine with me unleashing my version into the aether.
