I have to admit the necking in the park scene is my favourite bit. "Let us kiss in public! OH NOES THE FUZZ."

The leathery wings thing I can't take total credit for -- I don't know where the saying comes from, but the original is "Speak of the devil, and hear the flap of his leathery wings." It's an old joke my mentor and I used to have -- he'd appear in the office and I'd call "Speak of the devil!" and he'd yell back "And hear the flap of my leathery wings!" :D
