Everything about this is so absolutely true. This is totally how it happened, and this is exactly what I wanted after the finale.
Because! Of course Rory loves the Doctor. OF COURSE RORY LOVES EVERYONE. And I think people forget some times that Rory really is intelligent and that he really does get it, the Doctor and Amy and why the're so important to each other. My friend who I watch Who with keeps insisting that Rory is the new Tin Dog, like Mickey was, and maybe I need to make her read this. Because this illustrates better than I ever could trying to explain it to her, Rory can't be less of an important character than Amy, because Rory's been there her whole life, he's always known and he's always understood.
Anyway. All this to say that I think this is pretty much perfect.
