Several times during this fic, I felt like my heart was having to expand a few sizes to accommodate the volume of my love for Rory and this story you created for him. This is just magnificent!!! It's sweet, funny, insightful, occasionally sad, but ultimately so joyful and life-affirming. I love the way you've woven together the different eras and realities of Rory's life. I have about as many favorite parts as there are words in this fic, but I'm especially fond of this:
Rory has no clue what to say. This is easier when there's crying involved, then his job is to stroke hair and fetch tissues. Or, or! When there's a big box to be guarded. Rory is fucking aces at guarding big boxes.
Yes! It's so wonderfully Rory, and it made me choke with laughter. Also loved: the church ladies telling Amy's aunt to just let her be crazy. Rory's longing for boxer-briefs. Rory and Jeff's changing relationship. Rory loves the Sonic Screwdriver like he loves ice cream and dissecting things in science class. Rory's entire Roman life. "Are we in a reality that doesn't exist again?" Everything last thing in this story.

In summary: fantastic!
