Until proven otherwise, this is my personal canon for what Eleven was doing during the "moon hop." I absolutely adore this story. There is such good character work on the Doctor and Jack here. The story is hilarious and tender as well as sexy.

"Well...yeah...in a purely physics-based way," the Doctor said, pushing himself up on his elbows. He looked so earnest. "Outside of physics I do really quite like you, Jack."

"Outside of..." Jack echoed, and then threw back his head and laughed. "You are such an asshole!"

I laughed for about a minute solid here, because the phrasing is really funny, and it's just such a Doctor thing to say plus an excellent reaction from Jack.

The "I'm sorry, Jack" at the end broke my heart, dammit. Oh, well. It was good to have it there anyway.
