Can I just say, as someone who falls back on 'scripting' in social situations, I'm really identifying with Ianto's struggle for original speech and reactions. It can be a real pain to have to generate original speech/reaction at home. I know it was especially difficult after a long shift in retail. I'm a fabulous cashier, but I'd have trouble shifting 'modes' for at least an hour after work ended.
