It was interesting to try and build the Doctor's family; not only because it's him as a truly young man, but because it's so hard to envision Time Lord life (especially if, like me, you haven't seen much Classic Who).

You'd be surprised what people freak out over. I've had people give me dirty looks for shopping in the childrens' section of the bookstore without a child in tow.
