then picked up a first-edition Agatha Christie from a cherub-faced blond man with a rather eerie collection of bibles.
I hope I'm not the only one that read that and had a minor Aziraphale! moment.
This whole story is love. Martha Jones! And Ianto being so himself, and yet happy--if not entirely at peace. His moments of insight are wonderful. And the way he faces up to the Doctor and asks for his sacking now, if it's coming. The running is killer. *dies*
And Rose's whole approach to the Doctor! I kind of adore her complete lack of tact, it's so... Rose. Both clothes scenes were brilliant. (That coat!) And the Doctor's panic attack was heartbreaking and humanizing and kind of breaking, afterwards, with the way he can't let Rose go.
Ethelred. *dies a bit* That puts Eddie Izzard in my head. ("Ethelred the Unready! What did he do to be called that?" -- Which is kind of a perfect reference for the Doctor, really. If there ever was a man more unready...)

I'm on gleeful tenterhooks for the next bit. :D
