My very favourite small and quiet moment of the show last night, was when Gwen touched her hand to the photo of Owen and Tosh, and said "good morning" to them.

This fic really resonated with me because it had the same kind of aching, quiet, and lonely feel to it. Yes, there are many moments where I literally *awwwwwwwwed*, for the companionship and love these three have for each other--but, so much of WHY they are together stems from some intense pain and...just really feeling unanchored in the "normal" world.
(Er, in my opinion anyway.)

I can BARELY wait for the next episode tonight. *groans in frustration*
