I recently read a fic in which a simila rthing happens to Owen and he does have angst, which I quite liked (here (http://paperclipbitch.livejournal.com/121468.html#cutid1)), but I think I like your take better. :) (As a non-viewer - currently - I will fail to notice if anyone is wildly OOC. This may have been a factor in my enjoyment of the fic, so forgive me if the rec is awful.)
