That was very interesting and enjoyable. The premise itself is fascinating - considering how much criticism the Americanisation of British shows usually gets, I enjoyed the anticipation of Finding Out How Wrong They Got It. Except, of course, they didn't, or you didn't, rather, since both Ellis and Edgar seem to be delightful and intelligent chaps (and yes, I could see why there'd be porn about them as well *g*). But it was interesting to note the differences, with things like the existence of Tommy and the lack of Jack/Gwen, and look for reasons that would make American tv producers prefer that way. Also, I found the switching of Tennant and Barrowman to be really intriguing - I could see JB as the Doctor a lot more easily than DT as Jack, since somehow the flirtatiousness does not translate quite so easily. And I was greatly amused by the fanfic summaries (and Sam's Three Things).
But yes, I think this might be the most original contribution to the field of transformative works that I've seen in TW fandom, and certainly your best work in it yet. I'm impressed by your brain. :)
