Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it :) I would love to see a character like Nicholas on the show, someone who keeps to the background and is always amazed by the job.

Nicholas will be back at Torchwood come the new season -- this chapter is "alternate universe" and once Torchwood starts up again I'll be picking up at the end of chapter three. So he will return! :D
